Ragi Pakoda / Ragi Vada


    Ragi pakoda is a crispy and tasty tea time snacks. Ragi is a high amount of

 calcium and potassium, protein and minerals. It is a great source of iron and amino

 acids. It is a simple and tasty snacks recipe for health.




Ingredients:

Ragi Flour - 1 cup

Rice Flour - 1.5 tbsp

onion -1 

Green Chilis - 2

Gram Dhal - 2 tbsp

Water, Salt, Oil - As required

Curry Leaves - As needed 

Ragi pakoda recipe is explained in this post with step by step pictures. 


Prep Time  : 10 minutes

Cook Time : 20 minutes

Servings    : 4 people


Instructions:

  • Finely chop onion, green chilies, curry leaves.
  • In a bowl add all ingredients with out oil mix well make sticky dough.
  • Add water in to ragi flour and mix as shown in the pictures.
  • Add salt in to the mixture.
  • Heat enough oil in a pan, add the raw ragi mixture.
  • Fry till they turn crispy and onion gets golden brown.
  • Repeat till the pakoda mixture get fried.
  • Deep fry till crispy and golden brown on medium hot oil.

How to make Crispy Ragi Pakoda
