Javvarisi Payasam / Sago Payasam

Javvarisi payasam is a delicious and yummy sweet recipes. It is famous for a
south india and simple and tasty payasam recipes. It is prepared by the festival
occasions.

Servings : 3 people
Ingredients:
- Javvarisi - 1/2 cup (nylon javvarisi used)
- Milk - 3 cups
- Jaggery or Sugar - 1 cup
- Cashews nuts -10 Nos
- Raisins - 10 Nos
- Cardamom powder - 1/4 tablespoon
- Ghee - 4 tablespoons
- Water - 2 cup
Instructions:
2. Add boiled milk into javvarisi pan, then add sugar or jaggery and mix well sugar completely dissolves, then add caradamom powder.
4. Take a another pan, add ghee in to the pan roast the cashews, raisins until golden brown set aside.
In a wide bottomed vessel boil water, then add javvarisi to boiling water cook
until javvarisi turns completely cook and soft to touch.
Add boiled milk into javvarisi pan, then add sugar or jaggery and mix well sugar completely dissolves,then add cardamom powder.
Give a quick stir cook for 2 minutes.
Take a another pan, add ghee in to the pan roast the cashews,raisins until golden brown set aside.
Finally Garnish with ghee roasted cashews and raisins.
Serve javvarisi or sago payasam hot or chilled as per your liking.
